DISPENSING AUDIOLOGIST
A busy, dispensing audiology practice in Roswell, NM is seeking an Audiologist with sales experience for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must be licensed in New Mexico. Sales aptitude, good listening skills, and commitment to best practices in audiology are the corners of success in this practice. This is a dispensing practice with the focus on providing high quality hearing instruments and audiological care to our patients.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
• Sell 20-30 hearing instruments per month.
• Conduct case history interviews and audiological testing, interpret results accurately and make appropriate recommendations including hearing aids.
• Make ear impressions and fit and modify ear molds and custom products
• Program hearing aids to prescriptive settings, troubleshoot and make appropriate adjustments.
• Counsel patients, answer questions, and address problems. Provide effective solutions.
• Maintain documentation and patient files.
• Share diagnostic audiology responsibilities with a colleague to include OAE, ABR, and VNG evaluations.
Qualifications
• Masters Degree in Audiology or Au.D.
• 3-4 years hearing aid dispensing experience
• Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.
